I love paid traffic. Today I will reveal 4 scalable paid traffic sources that every online marketer should be taking advantage of.
Before I get started, understand that there is nothing wrong with free traffic, it just simply takes time to generate and if you’re like me, you like speed.
Facebook Paid Advertising
Facebook ads seem to be all the rage these days. It’s obvious, go to where your audience is and yes, they are probably scrolling Facebook as we speak.
There are many cons to using this traffic source:
- Over 2+ Billion Active Users
- Ability to Dig Down and Find Perfect Audiences
- Able to begin with a Small Budget ($5.00)
- Infinitely Scalable
Just like any traffic source, there are of course a few negatives with this platform:
- Can Be Tricky to Master
- Facebook Doesn’t Like Affiliates
- Ever-Changing Ads Manager Interface
- Can Cost You a Good Bit of Money to Test Different Ads
Below is an example of an ad created inside the Facebook Ads Manager:
This is a traffic source that is simple to use and can have you targeted traffic coming in fast.
Solo ads are when you basically rent another marketer in your niche, email list. They send out an email to their email subscribers with a link to your offer you’re promoting.
This is usually an opt-in page so you can in return build your own email list.
Here are 4 reasons I highly recommend Solo Ads as a scalable paid traffic source:
- There are Many Solo Vendors
- The Price Per Click Can Be Low (around .40 cents)
- You Know the Traffic is Targeted
- Clicks Can Come in Fast
Over the last couple of years there has been some issue with this traffic source:
- A lot of Shady Vendors
- Many Same Subscribers on Multiple Lists
- Possibility of Bot Traffic
You can help weed out the bad vendors by doing a little research before you ever buy a Solo.
Make sure the vendor has solid testimonials from clients. There is a good group inside Facebook that I like to use to find what Solo Vendors are selling quality clicks and the kind of results their customers are getting, it’s called Solo Ads Testimonials.
Also, there are a few good websites where you can find reliable solo traffic sellers. Clickonomy, Udimi and Solo Ads X are 3 solid ones to check out:
BING Ads Platform
Over the last couple of months I’ve really began to branch out and find newer traffic sources that can bring me quality leads and potential customers. Bing’s Ads Platform is quickly becoming one of my favorites
This traffic source is comparable to Google Adwords without the strict advertising policies and insane cost per clicks.
Here is what I like about Bing Ads:
- Cheap CPC (Cost Per Click)
- Able to Get Clicks Fast
- Less Competition
- Once You Have a Winning Ad, Very Easy to Scale
- Free $100 Advertising Coupon When You Join
- Smaller Search Engine than Google (Less Traffic)
- Harder to Find Profitable Keywords Using Their Keyword Tool
- The Interface Tracking Seems Somewhat Inconsistent
These really aren’t negatives and shouldn’t detour you from using this paid traffic source:
Another highly profitable traffic source that is easy to scale is Banner Ads or Media Buys.
This is where you rent out ad space on a popular related blog or website and when the banner is clicked, they are instantly redirected over to your offer.
Banner Ads are relatively an older form of getting traffic but its definitely going strong today with no end in site.
Some good reasons to use Banner Ads:
- You Will Get A lot of Clicks
- People Love Clicking on Images
- Relatively Inexpensive to Start
- Easy to Do
When I started thinking about possible negatives or cons, I really couldn’t come up with any.
If you use reputable Banner Ad placement sites like, Buy Sell Ads, BidVertisers and Adversal you really can’t go wrong of you have an engaged banner and solid offer behind it.
Here is an example of a banner ad:
You now have 4 scalable paid traffic sources you could begin using today to start growing your Online Marketing business. With any paid traffic outlets, always start small and invest more as you begin to have good results.
